Aer Lingus Visa Signature®
Katie's Take
Typically has the same offer as the other Avios-earning cards from Chase (British Airways and Iberia). No compelling perks overall but can be a great way to earn a chunk of points.

Chase Air Canada Aeroplan® Credit Card
Katie's Take
Good option for Pay Yourself Back or Aeroplan's other sweet spots.

Air France KLM Visa Signature®
Katie's Take
Not necessarily a keeper long term but does allow you to save your transferrable points if you plan to use Flying Blue miles.
American Express Platinum Card®
Katie's Take
High annual fee, but worth it if you'll actually use the credits. Just note: getting this offer makes you ineligible for Gold or Green welcome offers, so open those first if you want them.
American Express® Business Gold Card
Katie's Take
If you're new, prioritize Ink cards first. But if you're maxed out at Chase or want a break, this is a solid way to earn Membership Rewards — and existing Amex customers usually avoid the hard pull.

View Card
American Express® Gold Card
Katie's Take
Strong earning and good transfer partners, but you'll need to actually use the small credits to justify the higher annual fee.
Amtrak Guest Rewards® Preferred Mastercard®
Katie's Take
Great option to save on Amtrak trips. 40,000 points would cover about $1000 of train travel.
Atmos™ Rewards Ascent Visa Signature® credit card
Katie's Take
A solid option for earning Atmos Rewards, especially when you see an elevated offer.
Atmos™ Rewards Summit Visa Infinite® credit card
Katie's Take
Targeted at frequent Alaska and Hawaiian flyers but worth crunching the numbers before keeping past year one given the higher $395 annual fee.
Atmos™ Rewards Visa Signature® Business Card
Katie's Take
A solid option for earning Atmos Rewards, especially when you see an elevated offer.
Bank of America® Premium Rewards® credit card
Katie's Take
Generally a lackluster option compared to other bank travel cards.
Bank of America® Premium Rewards® Elite
Katie's Take
The best Priority Pass access of any card with free unlimited guests and restaurant access. Plus you get 4 memberships included!
Bilt Blue Card
Katie's Take
Not a very compelling card, even with no annual fee.
Bilt Obsidian Card
Katie's Take
I think Bilt tried to make a card here to battle with our perennial favorite: the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card®. But frankly, they failed. Still ok if you want to jump through the Bilt hoops to earn on mortgages or rent payments.
Bilt Palladium Card
Katie's Take
This card has some earning potential....if you're willing to put in some mental energy and work.
The Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express
Katie's Take
A great way to keep your Membership Rewards points alive without an annual fee, and it doesn't hit your 5/24 count.

Blue Cash Everyday® Card from American Express
Katie's Take
For a no annual fee card, the $7/month streaming benefit is great! A good starter card if you're fine earning cash back instead of points.
Blue Cash Preferred® Card from American Express
Katie's Take
Generally not a card I recommend just because it only earns cash back - not points, plus it has a $95 annual fee.
British Airways Visa Signature® Card
Katie's Take
Great to get if you're planning to fly British Airways to London because beyond the points, you can get up to $100 in statement credits per economy booking on British Airways award bookings that originate in the US (max of 3 credits per year).

Bank of America® Business Advantage Unlimited Cash Rewards Mastercard® credit card
Katie's Take
A no-annual-fee business cash back card with flat 1.5% on every purchase — and that rate climbs to as high as 2.625% if you qualify for Bank of America's Preferred Rewards for Business program.
Business Leverage® Visa Signature® Card
Katie's Take
When this offer goes to $750 cash back it's a very solid offer for a no-annual fee business card that will keep you under 5/24
Capital One Platinum Credit Card
Katie's Take
A fair-credit Capital One card meant for credit building, not earning rewards. But a decent option if that's what you need.
Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card
Katie's Take
Solid as a starter card if you want simplicity, but usually I'd recommend other options like Capital One Savor Cash Rewards Credit Card.
Capital One Savor Cash Rewards Credit Card
Katie's Take
Good earning rates especially for grocery stores and dining and entertainment. You can combine the cash back you earn with a card that earns Venture miles.
Capital One Spark Cash
Katie's Take
Good offer for no annual fee card but unlike most business cards, this one reports to your personal credit reports and counts toward 5/24.
Capital One Spark Cash Plus
Katie's Take
Great option if you have a lot of expenses coming up. Doesn't report to personal credit, so it won't count toward your 5/24.
Capital One Spark Cash Select
Katie's Take
Great option to earn cash back (and could convert that to Venture miles) but will add to your 5/24 count.
Capital One Venture Business
Katie's Take
Great option to earn Venture miles with a business card that won't add to your 5/24 count
Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card
Katie's Take
Great overall card option to earn some Venture miles which are very beginner-friendly.
Capital One Venture X Business
Katie's Take
Very similar to the personal version but does still give Priority pass guest access to 2 guests which is a plus.
Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card
Katie's Take
If you can easily use the $300 travel credit, this card is a keeper. Lounge access is pretty stingy though unless you're a high spender.
Capital One VentureOne Business
Katie's Take
Decent offer for a no annual fee card, but will add to your 5/24 count
Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card
Katie's Take
Capital One's no-annual-fee Venture family option. Welcome bonus is small but won't cost you anything to keep.
Chase Freedom Flex® Credit Card
Katie's Take
A great starter card from Chase mainly due to the bonus categories (5% back on rotating categories each quarter, on up to $1500 per quarter, 3% back on dining and drugstores).

Chase Freedom Unlimited®
Katie's Take
This is a great way to boost your Ultimate Rewards® earnings! This is especially a great option for people who are just getting into points as they build credit.
Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card
Katie's Take
THE top beginner card I recommend for points. The travel protections it provides are top tier, too!
Chase Sapphire Reserve®
Katie's Take
High annual fee but if you can use at least some of the coupons on this card, you can come out ahead and have some great perks. I personally really like this card but it does take work to manage.
Sapphire Reserve for Business℠
Katie's Take
This annual fee is certainly hefty but if your business will use enough of the credits it provides some solid value.
Choice Privileges® Mastercard®
Katie's Take
The earning rates are lower than the Select version (5x at Choice vs. 10x, 3x on bonus categories vs. 5x), so this is more of a welcome-offer-and-sock-drawer card than a card you'd want to use.
Choice Privileges® Select Mastercard®
Katie's Take
When the offier is elevated, this is a strong optoin to collect Choice points. Could also easily be a keeper with the 30,000 points a year you get on your account anniversary.
Citi Custom Cash® Card
Katie's Take
This can be a good starter card or a good way to strategically earn extra Thank You points.
Citi Double Cash® Card
Katie's Take
A solid no-annual fee card that can combine with Strata products and effectively earn Thank You points.
Citi Strata Elite℠ Card
Katie's Take
The credits make it a bit harder to get the full value of that $595 annual fee back. But because they are calendar year credits, the very first year of holding the card has a much higher value potential.
Citi Strata Premier® Card
Katie's Take
Best perks on this are the ability to transfer to American Airlines and a 2 year extended warrany on items you purchase.
Citi Strata℠ Card
Katie's Take
Lower transfer ratios for Thank You points but I do like the 3x earning on grocery stores.
Citi® / AAdvantage Business™ World Elite Mastercard®
Katie's Take
Great card to get to stay below 5/24 and stock up on AA miles.
Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Legend Mastercard®
Katie's Take
This steep annual fee really only makes sense if you're a heavy user of AA lounges or AA Vacation credits. Otherwise the lower annual fee AA cards will give you more bang for your buck.
Citi® / AAdvantage® Globe™ Mastercard®
Katie's Take
Highest value in the first year since the annual fee is a bit steep compared to the benefits.
Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® World Elite Mastercard®
Katie's Take
Not necessarily a long term keeper but a great one to earn some valuable AA miles.
Delta SkyMiles® Blue American Express Card
Katie's Take
This is the most basic Delta card and has no annual fee.
Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Card
Katie's Take
Solid Delta card with free checked bags, priority boarding, and useful credits. Important: get this one BEFORE the Platinum or Reserve, since holding either of those makes you ineligible for the welcome offer.
Delta SkyMiles® Gold Business American Express Card
Katie's Take
Solid card option for earning Delta miles. Elevated offers cycle through frequently, I'd recommend waiting for an elevated offer before you get this card.

Delta SkyMiles® Platinum American Express Card
Katie's Take
Strong value for regular Delta flyers. But note: you're not eligible for the welcome offer if you've held the Delta Reserve in the past ~7 years, so apply BEFORE upgrading to Reserve.
Delta SkyMiles® Platinum Business American Express Card
Katie's Take
This card is a coupon book of credits and perks — if you'll actually use them, the annual fee is easy to justify.

Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card
Katie's Take
A giant coupon book. But note! If you want Delta cards, apply for Gold FIRST.
Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card
Katie's Take
The annual fee is on the higher side, but if you're traveling a lot on Delta, the benefits can potentially outweigh the cost.

Hawaiian Airlines® Bank of Hawaii World Elite Mastercard®
Katie's Take
Decent option to get some Atmos Rewards, though the Alaska cards usually have higher offers.
Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card
Katie's Take
The Annual Free Night Award alone (usable at any Hilton) can cover part of the $550 fee. Just make sure you'll actually use all the benefits before committing.
Hilton Honors American Express Card
Katie's Take
Wait for an elevated offer on this card, I especially like the ones that include a free night certificate
Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card
Katie's Take
Easy to recoup the $150 annual fee if you stay at Hilton regularly — between the $200 Hilton credit and Gold status perks.
Iberia Visa Signature® Card
Katie's Take
Typically has the same offer as the other Avios-earning cards from Chase (British Airways and Aer Lingus). No compelling perks overall but can be a great way to earn a chunk of points.

IHG One Rewards Premier Business Credit Card
Katie's Take
I prefer this to the personal version of this card since it has less of an impact on your credit score and 5/24 status.
IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card
Katie's Take
I love the annual free night certificate on this one and 4th night free when you book with points.
IHG One Rewards Traveler Credit Card
Katie's Take
Good option for a no annual fee card! This card also unlocks the ability to get your 4th night free on IHG award stays.
Ink Business Cash® Credit Card
Katie's Take
A perennial favorite! No annual fee and you can convert the cash back > Ultimate Rewards if you also have a card like the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card
Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card
Katie's Take
Overall good card option for earning Ultimate Rewards. One of the few that still earns 3x on travel.
Ink Business Premier® Credit Card
Katie's Take
Unlike other cash back offers from Chase, there is no option to combine what you're earning here with a Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card and then transfer to Hyatt or United, etc. For that reason, I rarely recommend this card — especially because it has a high annual fee with few benefits.
Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card
Katie's Take
A perennial favorite! No annual fee and you can convert the cash back > Ultimate Rewards if you also have a card like the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card
JetBlue Business
Katie's Take
Fairly standard benefits on this card for a lower annual fee airline card. A solid option to grab when the offer is elevated.
JetBlue Plus Card
Katie's Take
This is a good card to earn some quick JetBlue points.
JetBlue Premier Card
Katie's Take
Decent for the first year, especially if you can use the $300 travel credit in 2 calendar years. Also includes Priority Pass restaurant access.
Marriott Bonvoy Bevy® American Express® Card
Katie's Take
Most of the perks aren't easy-to-access for the average user but a decent option when there is a strong elevated offer.
Marriott Bonvoy Bold® Credit Card
Katie's Take
Often a decent option for no annual fee, especially because it offers an upgrade pathway to the Ritz Carlton® Card after a year. Current rules can change.
Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card
Katie's Take
If you like Marriott, this is a keeper card — we find that the annual free night is easy to redeem at hotels that cost $250+ per night.
Marriott Bonvoy Bountiful™ Card
Katie's Take
The annual fee on this card is high, especially compared with the benefits you get. For most people, the Boundless is going to be a better value.

Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card
Katie's Take
High annual fee but the perks can easily justify it for Marriott loyalists.
Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express® Card

I like that it won't affect your 5/24 status + has a free night certificate every year

Navy Federal’s Visa Signature Flagship Rewards
Katie's Take
Not typically worth a 5/24 slot but does include a free Amazon prime membership for a low $49 annual fee.
PenFed Pathfinder® Rewards Visa Signature®
Katie's Take
Points are worth a little less than 1 cent per point so I don't recommend spending on this -- it's more of a sock-drawer card for the perks.
Qatar Airways Privilege Club Signature & Infinite credit cards
Katie's Take
Overall really only makes sense if you have very specific travel plans that it will help with.
Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card
Katie's Take
Lowest annual fee Southwest card. Overall, I think the other 2 personal cards provide a bit better value.

Southwest Rapid Rewards® Priority Credit Card
Katie's Take
Highest annual fee for a Southwest personal card but gives you peace of mind by being able to confirm your seats (for free) right when you book, even if you book Basic fares.
Southwest® Rapid Rewards® Performance Business Credit Card
Katie's Take
Steep annual fee but might be worth it to help you earn a Companion Pass.
Southwest® Rapid Rewards® Premier Business Credit Card
Katie's Take
This would be my choice of business card -- as long as the math works out and still allows you to earn a Companion Pass.
The American Express Blue Business Cash® Card
Katie's Take
An okay no-annual-fee option, but not one I regularly recommend.

The Business Platinum Card® from American Express

U.S. Bank Business Altitude® Connect Visa Signature® Card
Katie's Take
Great in year one for 4 Priority Pass visits (including restaurants) when the annual fee is waived.
U.S. Bank Triple Cash Rewards Visa® Business Card
Katie's Take
When this offer goes to $750 cash back it's a very solid offer for a no-annual fee business card that will keep you under 5/24
United Club℠ Card
Katie's Take
If you are very committed to flying United/Star Alliance partners and have a large family, this card could definitely make sense. If you fly a variety of airlines, it would be hard to get the value of the annual fee out of this card.

United Quest℠ Card
Katie's Take
Hard to get great value long term on this card but can be worth it during an elevated offer.
United℠ Business Card
Katie's Take
The 10% off (or more) on award flights makes this a good option if you're planning to book on United.
United℠ Explorer Card
Katie's Take
The 10% off (or more) on award flights makes this a good option if you're planning to book on United.
Wells Fargo Autograph Journey℠ Card
Katie's Take
Great transfer ratios to Choice and Wyndham (1:2)! And good 3x earning on travel and restaurants.
World of Hyatt Business Credit Card
Katie's Take
Other than the ability to spend and earn elite night credits to get to Globalist status, the annual fee doesn't provide so much value compared to the perks.
Wyndham Rewards Earner® Business Card
Katie's Take
Annual points on account anniversary can easily offset the annual fee plus 8x on gas!
Wyndham Rewards Earner® Plus Card
Katie's Take
Annual points on account anniversary can help offset the annual fee but overall the business version has higher keeper value.
