Why this card might (or might not) be right for you.
If you're new, I'd prioritize the Ink cards. But if you have been at this a while and can't open Ink cards right now, or want to take a breather from Chase, this can be a solid offer and way to earn some Membership Rewards.
I also like that American Express generally doesn't run a hard pull on your credit report if you are an existing customer so this should not have any effect on your credit score at all. This card has a bit of a higher annual fee and higher spend but you can usually break even if you can use those monthly credits.
