Avios can be moved between any airline account that earns Avios — so that means British Airways, Qatar Airways, Aer Lingus, and Finnair. Avios have some good sweet spots like flying to Ireland on Aer Lingus, flying to Spain on Iberia, and booking onto domestic AA (American Airlines) flights in the US.
This card would be great to get if you're planning to fly British Airways to London because beyond the points, you can get up to $100 in statement credits per economy booking on British Airways award bookings that originate in the US (max of 3 credits per year).
