Where it gets really interesting is if you're a Bank of America Preferred Rewards for Business member. The 25-75% rewards boost based on your tier can push your effective cash back rate to 2.625% on everything — making this one of the most rewarding flat-rate business cards out there. Note: Preferred Rewards is being renamed to 'BofA Rewards' in May 2026.

A few things to know: as a business card, this won't count toward Chase's 5/24 rule, which makes it a great option if you're trying to stay under for personal Chase applications later. As with other BoA cards, your best chance for approval is opening two or fewer cards in the past 12 months — or having a Bank of America business checking account.

One important caveat: this card charges a 3% foreign transaction fee, so leave it at home when you travel internationally. Stick to a no-FTF travel card for purchases abroad.
