My Take
Love this high point offer — but you will have to do a fair amount of spending to earn the full bonus. It is theoretically possible to use this offer to earn a Companion Pass for 2025-2026 but that timing would be extremely tight and I honestly don’t recommend it for most people.
Instead I think this is a good offer to get and finish all your spending on ASAP. If you do it by December 1, 2024 — you’ll still earn a Companion Pass through December 31, 2025. And then in late 2025 you can strategize how to re-up.
Overall, you’ll always need to pay attention to your timing when applying if you’re trying to maximize the Companion Pass. This card is the lowest annual fee business card to help you earn a Companion Pass.
If you’re using the 3 card/2 pass method, this is the ideal business card for the 2nd person get.
offer History
The standard offer on this card is 60,000 points after you spend $3,000 in 3 months. In Summer 2023, we saw an offer that also included a a higher tier bonus (but required an additional $12,000 of spending to get another 60k points).
