  • You can also cash out your points. Each point is worth .75 cents. 70,000 points = $525. 
  • My favorite redemptions on this card are Ascend Properties in the US, Choice Hotels in Europe, and Preferred Hotels with Choice.

My Take

This card has a few niche but great transfer partners. The biggest is new in 2025 — Citi added American Airlines as a transfer partner. Another favorite transfer partner is Choice Hotels — especially with the 1:1.5 ratio this card offers. I also really like that the extended warranty is the best of all the starter cards and offers an additional 2 years of protection on items you purchase.

An offer of 75,000 points ended in April 2025. The previous version (Citi Premier) had a standard offer of 60,000 points. We saw some 80,000 point offers as well — the last one expired in January 2023.
