One of the easiest ways to boost your points and cash back earning is to start using shopping portals for online purchases. With these, you can earn some additional cash back of points and miles for the exact purchase you're already making.
You don't need to start with more than one of these at first! I'd recommend starting with Rakuten which has a browser extension you can add to your web browser on phone and computer so it will pop up and help you earn extra cash back or points.
