What's In the Plan
The Three Year Plan gives you the exact card order and timing — so you always know what to open, when to open it, and why. Here's a sample of what each year covers:
Start with the Chase Sapphire Preferred®, then branch into Capital One, your first business card, and an airline card. Three strong points buckets by December.
Add more Chase business cards, start tapping into household referral bonuses if you're in 2 person mode, and add your first hotel-specific card.
Add a third flexible rewards currency (like Citi ThankYou Points), more airline miles, and another hotel card. By year-end, you'll have over 1 million points across multiple programs.
