This doesn't have any particularly exciting spend categories. For most people, I'd recommend the Capital One Savor Cash Rewards Credit Card instead.

For a no-annual fee card, this has some good earning rates especially for grocery stores and dining. You can even turn this cash back into Venture miles with the right card combo.

A fantastic card from Chase mainly due to the incredible bonus categories (5% back on bonus categories, and travel booked through Chase Ultimate Rewards®, 3% back on dining and drugstores) and decent welcome bonus.

Personally I prefer the Chase Freedom Flex® to this card for the 5x earning opportunities. But with the welcome offer that allows you to effectively earn 3% back for your first year, this is a good option for earning for that year — when you’re not working on a different new cardmember bonus!
