Annual Companion Certificate

The Companion Certificate requires payment of government-imposed taxes and fees of between $22 and $250 (for itineraries with up to four flight segments). Statement credit every 4 years for either up to $85 for the TSA PreCheck® application fee or up to $120 for the Global Entry application fee. Card Members approved for Global Entry will also receive access to TSA PreCheck at no additional cost.

Despite the higher annual fee, I think this holds good value — especially if you are a regular Delta flyer. The Companion Certificate alone can make it a break-even card — assuming you actually use this benefit.
It's important to note that you are not eligible for this welcome offer if you have (or have received a bonus on in the past 7ish years) a Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card. To maximize your eligibility for Delta offers, you'll want to start not with this one but with the Gold card and work your way up.
