My Take
The card offers a range of benefits, including priority boarding, free checked bags, and the ability to earn Delta SkyMiles at a competitive rate. Enrollment is required for select benefits. Plus, you can save 15% on award flights and get up to $150 back on hotel bookings.
However, it's important to note that the value of the card's bonus can vary greatly. Delta doesn't have a fixed award chart, so the number of miles needed for a flight can fluctuate. Sometimes you'll find incredible deals, like 80,000 miles for a round-trip business class flight to Europe. Other times, you might see 80,000 miles for a one-way flight to Chicago.
Also — if you plan to get Delta cards, you will want to start with this one. You aren't eligible for this welcome offer once have or have had this Card the Delta SkyMiles® Platinum American Express Card, the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card or previous versions of these Cards.
