October 15: Ready, Set, APPLY!
The last few lessons went over the different card combinations that you can use to easily earn a Southwest Companion Pass.
October 15th is generally the earliest I recommend applying for your first card!
I generally suggest you start with a business card -- that's because it's a little harder to get approved for the business cards so I find it easier to lock this one in.
Now this may change depending on specific offers.
This is the earliest time to apply and start spending! But you CANNOT finish your spending till after your December statement closes.
Don't even get within $500. And keep in mind that sometimes even if you buy something and return it, that purchase counts towards your spending. Don't even come close.
What if I don't have a business?

When can I apply for card two?
Some people apply for both cards on the same day. You can do that if you want to! Or you can wait 14-30 days to apply for card two.
If you're doing the three card/two pass method, you won't want to refer the 2nd player to any card until after your December statement has closed.
