My Take
I've never really understood the appeal of this card compared to the other lower annual fee Marriott personal cards. You don't even get an annual free night certificate automatically. Ultimately, I don't think this has easy-to-access value for the average person but you might find otherwise.
It can be good during an elevated offer to earn a lot of Marriott points. Note that Marriott has very convoluted application rules so pay close attention to terms before applying. You won't be eligible for this offer if you've held the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card.
