My Take
Alaska has some great sweet spot options and includes a free stopover on award flights, even one way flights! Bank of America can be sensitive to lots of recent card openings. Your best chance of approval if you have opened more than 2 cards in 12 months is to open a Bank of America checking account.
Beware that Bank of America's website makes it extremely difficult to set up Autopay!
