My Take

This is a strong offer for points that transfer to a lot of airline partners. You apply and find out your welcome offer. After you apply — if approved, you will find out your offer amount and then can decide to accent the card and your offer. Then you'd need to meet the minimum spend requirement to earn your points.

If you're interested in this card, just know that getting this offer will make you ineligible to get the a welcome offer on the American Express® Green Card. So to maximize your points you'd want to get that card first. Also if you have (or have had recently) a The Platinum® Card from American Express, you'll be ineligible for this offer.

offer History

Previous standard offers were usually closer to 60k. Some targeted offers in the past were 90-100,000 points. Now the offer has switched so that it will vary per person.
