Avios Transfer Between Programs
Avios can be transferred 1:1 between Iberia, British Airways, Aer Lingus, Qatar Airways, Finnair (both accounts must be at least 90 days old). Plus Iberia Plus is a 1:1 transfer partner of Chase Ultimate Rewards and Amex Membership Rewards. Iberia's award chart can deliver excellent value on off-peak transatlantic JFK/BOS-MAD redemptions (from 17,000 Avios one-way).

Why this card might (or might not) be right for you.
Avios can be moved between any airline account that earns Avios — so that means British Airways, Qatar Airways, Aer Lingus, and Finnair. Avios have some good sweet spots like flying to Ireland on Aer Lingus, flying to Spain on Iberia, and booking onto domestic AA (American Airlines) flights in the US.
This card usually has the same offer as the other Avios cards from Chase (British Airways and Aer Lingus) but there aren't really any compelling reasons to get this card for flying Iberia over the other Avios cards.
