New Chase Instacart Benefits (How to Maximize)
In May 2025, Chase rolled out new Instacart benefits to a number of Chase cards. The benefits are the most generous on the Chase Ink Business Cash® Credit Card and Chase Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Cards which include a $20 per month credit through December 31, 2027 if you have Instacart+. A $10 a month benefit is also included on a number of co-branded cards as well through December 31, 2027.
What is Instacart?
Instacart started off as a grocery delivery service but has now expanded to include a wide variety of stores.
Usually there will be an up-charge on items you buy via Instacart. Some stores advertise “in-store” pricing.
If you order items to be delivered, it may be subject to order minimums or you may be required to hit a minimum in order to get free delivery. You may also incur service fees and you will be expected to tip your driver.
If you order an item for pickup (not available at all locations), you’ll be able to circumvent many of the fees.
What benefits do Chase Card Members get at Instacart?
Chase credit card members have slightly different benefits depending on their credit card. These benefits are good through December 31, 2027. This breaks down into three primary categories: Chase Ink Business cards, United cards, and other Chase co-branded cards.
All of these cards give 3 months or more of complimentary Instacart+.
The Instacart+ benefit does stack — so if you have multiple cards that qualify for this promotion, you will be able to add multiple cards and get Instacart+ for longer than 3 months.
Each of these cards also gives monthly credits for use at Instacart when you pay with your enrolled card.
See below for specific card benefits.
What is Instacart+?
Instacart+ is a subscription service that gives you $0 delivery fee on orders of $10+ (the minimum for Costco is $35).
You’ll also get a complimentary subscription to the streaming service Peacock ($79.99 value) and New York Times Cooking.
Instacart+ normally costs $99 per year. Costco members can buy a discounted Instacart+ membership for $79 for the year.

Steps to Follow to Activate this Promo
1) Sign up for an Instacart account
If you don’t already have one, you’ll need to create a new account. You can use my referral link to open a new account and you should earn an extra $10 coupon.
2) Activate the Instacart+ Trial on your cards
After you click through on those links, you’ll need to add the cards as a payment method.
You’ll see a different activation pop up if you click the Co-Brand or Ink card links.
You might need to click through a few times to check your card’s eligibility before you can get to the “Activate Now” button.
Troubleshooting Tips:
I ran into a few issues activating my Instacart+ and monthly credits. I think some of this was due to the fact I have an Instacart Business account as well as an Instacart Personal account. The Ink card activation link kept sending me to my Instacart Business account but when I tried to activate Instacart+ it gave me an error.
I had to edit the URL to this link, which then worked for me to activate one of my Ink cards: https://www.instacart.com/store/account/instacart-plus?action=partnership_modal&partnership=chase_business
3) Stack your 3 month Instacart+ memberships
If you have multiple cards with the 3 month Instacart+ memberships, you can stack these benefits to create a longer membership.
If you have two people in your household, you can even add cards for both of you to the same Instacart+ membership.
You can see here that I started with an Instacart+ membership that was set to expire on August 16, 2025.
After adding my first card, my expiration date shifted to November 16, 2025
I kept adding cards (I added 5 total) and eventually my Instacart+ membership then showed an expiration of November 20, 2026.
But note: it seems you can only add one card of each type. If you have multiple Chase Ink Unlimited cards, for instance, you may only be able to add one per Instacart account.
If you find otherwise, let use know in the comments — we are still figuring this out!
Steps to Follow to Use the Monthly Promos
Here are the basic steps to follow to redeem your monthly benefits
1) Make sure you’ve activated this Instacart benefit
See section above for step by step
2) Instacart+ must be active
Your $10/month or $20/month credits are only valid while you have an active Instacart+ membership. Depending on how many cards you have, the 3-month Instacart+ memberships may take you closer to the end of this deal on December 31, 2027.
If your complimentary memberships expire, you’ll need to pay for an Instacart+ membership in order to use your monthly credits. At the end of your free Instacart+ trial, you will be automatically enrolled in a paid membership. Set a reminder to cancel if you don’t want to continue.
3) Click through from a shopping portal if you want to earn extra cash back or points
If you want to earn the most points, you’ll want to use a desktop instead of the Instacart app so you can click through shopping portals.
My new favorite site to compare cash back offers is Savewise. On the day I was searching, Savewise showed these offers as an example. Keep in mind sometimes the highest offers will be for new customers.
In this case, when I clicked through, I could see TopCashBack was showing 10% cash back for return customers and 4 miles per dollar for Capital One customers. This is in addition to whatever points I would earn for purchases on my Chase cards!
4) Search for “Pickup” options if you want to save on fees – or “Delivery” to save on time
Not all stores offer “pickup” as an option, but some do.
With either option — delivery or pickup — you may be subject to order minimums.
At some stores, pickup has an extra fee, so watch out for that.
If you want to save on time — getting delivery might make sense for you. You’ll still pay a tip, but after the $10 off, you can often still get items delivered for the same price that you would have paid in store.
5) Search for items and check for other coupons
The monthly benefit doesn’t seem to work for restaurants, so you can ignore those.
You’ll see some stores advertise “in-store prices” and some will have additional coupons.
If you want to see all stores with coupons, you can go to “Offers” in the menu
Offers will change and may vary by account. If you click on a store, you’ll see the offer details at the bottom of the screen. Most offers require a minimum spend.
You can see when I clicked through to Walgreens, it shows I can get another $5 off but need to spend $35 to do so. These coupons will stack with the Chase monthly credits.
6) Add items to your cart
What you choose to buy is up to you. I like to use my credits for items that I need but aren’t in my regular grocery store. That way it saves me a trip to another store.
7) Select the right card as the payment method
To use your $10 or $20 monthly credit you’ll need to select that associated card as the payment method.
You can only use one of these Chase credits per order.
But it will stack with any Instacart store coupons. You can see on a sample cart I pulled up here that it showed the Chase Ink Credit along with the $10 from ALDI.
If you’re not in a rush, you can choose a later, scheduled delivery to save additional money, too.
8) Tip your shopper!
Don’t forget to tip your shopper!
9) Pick up your order or get it delivered
Enjoy it!
10) Do it again every month till December 31, 2027
It’s only $10-$20, but a great perk and a great way to save some time and/or money.
